FASHION TAKEAWAY

Fashion Takeaway was developed as a collaborative design project exploring the idea of breaking a garment into separate, independent parts.

Instead of creating one fixed look, individual elements — such as sleeves, cuffs, pockets and other garment components — were designed to be selected, combined and added in different ways.

The project approached clothing as an open system rather than a finished object, allowing the wearer to participate in shaping the final result.

Each element could exist on its own, but its function and character changed through combination.

This idea still continues in my practice today through simple garments designed with detachable or interchangeable elements — for example, a basic blouse paired with removable cuffs.

For me, Fashion Takeaway is about keeping clothing flexible, allowing one simple garment to change through small decisions made by the wearer.

The garment is not complete until the pieces are chosen.
